Gap Year in Tanzania

This is Africa at its best and delivers in every way: rolling plains teaming with wildlife, great game safaris, beach holidays along the Indian Ocean, culture on Zanzibar island and tip top mountain climbing.

Tanzanians are proud of their heritage and dedicate huge resources to preserving the land and wildlife. In fact most of Tanzania’s land is devoted to wildlife conservation – more than any other country in Africa. Culturally too, the country is full of historical evidence about the Arab traders, the slave trade, life during the Colonial times and the first ever traces of Mankind.

Zanzibar is a little hidden gem of an island just off the coast from Dar es Salaam. It’s small but it packs a punch with breathtaking beaches, coral marine parks and the historical Stone Town. Other places on the ‘must do’ travel list should include: The Serengeti, The Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Mount Kilimanjaro.

Safari’s are expensive and you definitely get what you pay for.  Living and travelling about pretty reasonable and cater for all budgets.
